First-time Novelist Eric Nail Solves Sinister Connection Between 666 And The Internet

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WILMINGTON, N.C./EWORLDWIRE/Jun 22, 2007 --- Is there really a secret connection between 666 - the so-called "Mark of the Beast" in the Bible – and the Internet? There is, according to first-time novelist Eric Nail. In his new book, "The Wave Wranglers and the New Order of the Pyramid," Nail stumbles across a timely and twisted application for this widely-speculated about yet enigmatic number.

"I've always been interested in mysteries," said the new author. "Especially ones that most people don't normally question. Things like: Why is there a pyramid on the back of the US dollar bill? What does an Egyptian pyramid and eye have to do with our money?"

It's precisely this question that started Nail on his journey to write a book.

"The story revolves around a touring rock band - the Wave Wranglers - and their chance meeting with a mermaid, who reveals to them some of the most secret and intriguing mysteries in society. She gets them to go on a quest to find out why there is an all-seeing eye and pyramid on the back of the U.S. dollar bill. Along the way, they encounter hidden symbols in American culture and how they relate to the group of people seeking an Orwellian, one-world government – the New Order of the Pyramid. It's what Harry Potter would probably dig in college," states Nail.

Nail asks, "So, what's the deal with the Internet and 666?"

"It has to do with how certain cultures use their letters and numbers interchangeably. Take Hebrew for instance. Anyone who's read or seen the History Channel special on "The Bible Code" knows that the letters in that language are also numbers. What is sixth letter in Hebrew? Vav, or W! The secret revealed itself to me when I googled: Hebrew numbers. I had one of those moments that seemed to be sending me hidden energy from some other dimension - when only you know a big secret – and will burst until you tell somebody. 666 is www. I worked it into my story."

A multimedia programmer, Nail earned his music credentials as the bass player in Sunbrain, an early-nineties touring rock band. "We had some crazy and wonderful times," he recalled. "We played all over the country, and our lead singer, David Dondero, still puts out music and now tours the world."

When asked why the Wave Wranglers were also surfers, Nail, who surfs, explains that the theories of Atlantis play an integral part in the story. "There's a huge interplay between the land and sea. Atlantis was the original one-world government, and it fell into the ocean. Why? Did it do something wrong? Surfers respect the sea, so they are much more receptive - even if is to knowledgeable mermaids. Being in a band, they have a reason to drive around and go on adventures – they just set up their tour schedule around them. Makes you wonder where Scooby-Doo got all that gas money for the Mystery Machine."

The novel is being published by Lulu.com. "People can order directly from Lulu, or through my Web site, http://www.wavewranglers.com, via Paypal," said Nail. "Eventually, it will be on Amazon, but if you order from me, you'll get a custom guitar pick - to be used as a bookmark."

The author says the book is appropriate for teenagers and older, due to some mild violence. "Basically, it's for anyone who is interested in Biblical prophecies, the Apocalypse, secret societies, philosophy, rock music, surfing, dolphins, whales and other sea life, including mermaids."
